Does anyone know if it is possible to buy from a dealer the back plastic housing that holds the MAF sensor, on its own or do you have to buy the whole thing including the sensor??? Please help thanks!!!!

I am 80% sure that you have to buy the whole thing together.
The reason I am pretty sure is because I have been warned by the dealer that even if you loose the thin circular rubber sealing that sits between the MAF and the airbox, you HAVE to buy a brand new MAF since the sealing is not sold separately.

Its a rip off
Try Grade A they were selling some for about £130 + vat, still a lot of donuts but at the end of the day £100 or so cheaper than new.
You'll be very lucky to fins someone who will split the MAF from the housing to sell it.

I tightened up one of the 4 bolts holding the sensor housing to my HKS filter too tightly and snapped off one of the loops where the bolt goes through. And it looks like it going to cost me £250 I cant believe it!!!!

Can't you just use Superglue or something to repair the plastic clip?
I don't think you'll find just the housing with the MAF unfortunately. Maybe Grade A or some other breaker may sell you the housing on it's own.

Fair enough
How about glueing a new washer onto the housing (if you've enough plastic left to hold it).

Edited coz I can't type
