ok guys,,,,, please help me

when i drive my 97 impreza hard the gearbox starts to whine like a straight cut/ ****ed gearbox and when this is happening it pisses out gearbox oil,,,,, now when i settle down it starts to shut up again and is fine again,,, dont even loose oil either like this

its been doing it for almost a year now,,, its done around 10k miles like this too and all i do is top up the box when i rag it and listen to it whine till i calm down

now i dont expect this idea to last,...... its gonna go but im trying to find out what it is thats making it do this so i can rebuild this

any ideas ?

yeah, gearbox was on its way out though not sure wht actually failed,,, the car threw a spaz as if it was wheel spinning so i took it out of gear and it never went back in anygear apart from 2nd,,,, and that took some convincing but as i was near where i store the car i just drove it into the yard, problem solved !
