Vague gear change
I've just bought a 1994 Uk Turbo and I have a problem; getting it into third gear is difficult simply because its so vague. No problem with other gears but putting it into third is a bit hit-or-miss. It feels like it may be a linkage problem; does anyone have any ideas?

Is the gear lever floppy between the gates?
Check the spring is still present on the linkage above the gearbox. Should return the lever to the neutral position in line with 3rd/4th
Have a look here http://opposedforces.com/parts/impre...llustration_1/ , part 24, bottom left.
Believe the part no is 33022GA081 but best to check.

i also have the same problem, really annoying! gear stick is sloppy in any gear, i've had a look underneath and can't see a spring anywhere? all the bushes 'seem ok'.
Not really sure where the spring should be, its not very clear on that diagram. any help would be great.
