The back box is about £140, it's 10 months old. The center section removes the center cat pipe and is worth about £50. The KnN 57i is worth about £50 and is about 8 months.
It's louder than a standard exhaust but it burbles to you rather than roars. Very suitable for the motorway, not intrusive.
I think the through pipe is 3" and the exit pipe (back bit) it 6" X 4" (Oval).
When I took the three items off my car to sell there was a noticable difference in performance.

I've recently fitted...(in the last week) a complete HKS system....minus cats.....it goes like **** but is toooooo loud for me!!!! I'm open to sensible offers....its not even done 100 miles yet.............any ideas on if I change the back box to shut it up a bit??? please help me!!!!

What year is car (not sure if that makes a difference) but my friend maybe interested in complete system. MY94 WRX
But if you change back box only and it will go on MY01, I may have it off you if price is good instead of my Prodrive one.

If I remember correctly HKS backboxes need to be attached to BKS centre sections.
There is certainly a difference for the MY01+ cars in the exhaust mountings and pipe lengths
there were numerous comments about this little while back.
The exhaus can be fitted with a bung that will restrict the airflow and cut the noise down (as well as come of the gains you got from putting the exhaust on).
I would suggest contact whoever you got the exhuast from to get one.

at the moment its on a 97.p reg.turbo..(uk)
i think the only difference is the lamda sensor holes in the downpipe....it comes with two holes, and you just bung up the one you don't use.
I'm open to any offers of a possible swop. (near enough the same value!) AS LONG AS ITS QUIETER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got a Magnex 6x4 BB, Magnex CS with resonator, KnN 57i Filter that came off my MY97 UK. If your interested in these + cash let me know

Got your email.......i hadn't considered an oval tail pipe, but it looks alright on yours...mines the same colour, so from the back it looks exactly the same!!!!!....i already have a K&N filter so i wouldn't want that.....however i hope we can come to an arrangement for the other bits......where abouts are you cause warwickshire isn't too far from me....if you can make me an offer for my lot in exchange for your lot and £££££££ that would be great.
