Hi guys, the Scoob seems to have developed a new noise. Only this one is a but scary.

We now have a wheering noise, if thats how you spell it? Coming from drive, gearbox area when driving, more so when you ease off of the accellerator, but does do it when powering on also. There are no other problems when driving and changing gears. Climbed underneathe to see what I could find and nothing stands out.
There is a bit of play in the coupler that holds the drive shaft heading towards the rear of the car?? Could this be it?
Main fear is that it is from the gear box, and it is on it way out.
All help greatly appreciated.

ive had this problem on mine tonight and as i pulled in the street the note canged to a bag of spanners

Not sure really but you could try changing the oil it might be old ??
