Cool

I didn't think mine was any good at first, I couldn't even hear it with the windows down. After a day or so it seemed to get louder though

have you got the right spring?
there are two different types, i think it is red or blue can't remember which one u need.
if u speak to forge motorsport they will advise and send u the spring free of charge!

Have to agree with John, you`ll be fitting a spark plug in the exhaust next?

Sorted!!!! I was supplied with the wrong Dump Valve!!

As for the two Johns, It's all about personal choice guys, If I like the noise the Valve stays if i dont it goes simple as that!
As for the spark plug in the exhaust, what a F**kin excellent idea thats my job for the weekend :P

hahaha

Dont get me started on Dump Valves.

They go Farrrrrttttttttttt, not chirp chirp. to get the chirp chirp you need to be running higher boost and it helps not to have a dump valve for that.

Ask mike rainbird about the exhaust spark plug. (it's an 80's flick thing. )

JohnF - We`re outnumbered here!
No offence meant guys. I may be old enough to be yer dad but I`m every bit as keen as any of you, its just that there are quite a few RS`ers around here with vent to atmosphere DV`s going whoosh everywhere and I`m not a true believer in noise simply for the sake of noise with no actual benefits.
As has been said - freedom of speech and opinion!

Question

You know that i always thought that re-circ DV's were better for your scoob than atmospheric ones?? (thus the reason you have a re-circ as standard!)
Oh well... nice noise but prefer the sound of the engine to some wooooooooosh, makes you think that there is something wrong with your car

Talking

I've got a spark plug in my downpipe LOL

No I don't use it for flames, its just that my Lamda sensors in the manifold and that hole had to be plugged somehow.... and I didn't put it in there

BTW to hear all the noises, including the OE recirc just get an induction kit or remove the resonator. I did the latter as I feel its a restriction - honest!

Remember kids, function over form - not the other way round
