NEW TO ALL THIS AN MY CAR

I have been reading link after link & posts on this forum, and i can quite say i am totally geting lost, some of the **** u guy talk about he just beyond me (i have a lot to learn), i currently have a WRC UK Turbo (hell i dunno even what MY it is) and i see u all talking about Klinks etc, could sum1 please explain this stuff to me, or give me advice on what i could do for my car etc?? i currently have a standard car, with the prodrive conversion (woo hoo a few BHP more? but not much) also pipercross induction kit will be fitted later, and i have a scooby back box (basically **** all!). If any 1 has any advice for me it would be great (prferably in simple terms)

Do you mean you have a WRX (or have you really got one of the World Rally Cars )?
Post up the model code - 7 characters starting with G, should find it on a plate under the bonnet, and then someone can identify exactly what model you have (mind you, how come you don't know ).

ok dudes 1st of all phil i aint slagging u down all down when i say **** i mean i have no idea what u r talkin about ie it dont mean **** to me lol.
A for the Car info, i have a '97 WRC impreza prodrive converted (standard uk car i think, leather interior, shortened gear lever modified ECU (about 10 BHP extra i think) and a Scooby Back Box, have yet to decat the system after MOT of course :')
The Only mods on it i did today
Pipercross induction Kit and a Bailys Dumpvalve of a WRX, but now after fitting these i hear a strange dry sorta noise in the engine bay (after the dumpvalve rlses the air)is this my turbo geting grief offa the pipercross and the Dumpvalve or is summat just vibrating?
Any info is appreciated, also any extra info or advice on extras i could do grately appreciated
