Question

After the rr session the operator said it was running rich thoughout the session. Running nearly too rich at the top end and could be losing power because. The car is a MY00 with ITG filter and magnex bb. I was running Shell Optimax.

Thoughts ?

I had exactly the same comments about my MY00 on the RR. Sounds like the AE802 ECU has silly fuelling levels. As far as I can see the only options are:
1. Get an AE800 ECU from an earlier car (not as rich fuelling).
2. Get a programmable ECU fitted such as Link or Motec.

For now I'm going to fit my Dawes MBC and see if it gives me enough kick without having to resort to changing the ECU...

Andy.
