Default Got clutch, is it ment to feel thin?

Got my new clutch today, I was expecting something very heavy and massive, buts its about 12" width and like a cm thick.

Is it simple 1 day job, its just im going out this sun and dont want it to turn into a week job, im sending it into a garage. Just dont want them saying oh you need x y z and end up there longer.

Do you just have the driven plate (about 1cm thick and as you say 240mm across ish) or the heavy metal pressure plate as well, no one in their right mind changes the driven without changing the pressure plate, if you have clutch judder you may need the flywheel skimmed.

Any decent garage will get it done in a day no probs.
