has anyone fitted one of the gauges to a my99/00.i have a p1 and need to know where to make connections.how many connections/how easy

I've only fitted a Lambdalink AFR...but...they should be abt the same.

You've got the basic +12VDC, GND - and Lambda signal feed and lambda GND (you would want all of these connected - soldered - down at the ECU).

A top tip is to get hold of a Link manual to your MY (which contains the ECU connx harness schematic)...have a look at http://www.mrtrally.com.au - you'll find a PDF somewhere in there...
