I believe the correct gap is 1.0 to 1.1mm.

on my MY99 with loads of mods the spark plug gaps was around 0.6mm, i think 0.7mm shoud be good for your car

Look in your owners manual in the glovebox and it should give recommended plug gaps and plugs to use . Personally for the sake of £10 for a set of plugs compared with the hassle of taking them out just to regap them I just fit a new set of plugs every 12000 miles .

The Plug gap used to be 1.0mm, but the origional plugs have know been superseded. The new setting is 0.7mm.

As for plugs for a tenner, not sure about that....

I paid approx £11 per plug from Subaru. These plugs are built to last at least 30,000 miles (the plug service interval).
