Default Changing centre diff on MY98 WRX

Hello,

I have just got hold of a DCCD centre diff from a 96 car with a TY752 box.

I have the controller and everything else I need, but I have no knowledge of the centre diff.

So, I know the box has to be out of the car on my year of WRX, but I dont know the answers to the following questions.

1) Do I have to drain the gearbox oil to do this job?
2) Do I need a specific type of oil once the new diff is fitted?
3) Is there anything that will fly out and disappear when the diff is removed?

Any other advice would be good, although it will be May before I start to fit the kit I have.

Wayne.
