Default hi, im new and hope you can help, thanks

i have bought a k reg 2.0ltr turbo legacy for my local autocross but i am only allowed 2wheel drive. and way this can be done? thanks.

Yes but bloody expensive your better off buying a different car if you need a 2 wheel drive car.

is it not just possible to weld up the diff?

yep your gonna need to disconnect or remove the front driveshafts and get the centre diff out of the gearbox,then your gonna need to weld it.Do a good job of it cos alot of torque will be going through it.
There is a guide somewhere on google as i read it and contemplated the same thing...

thats a couple i found.you can also get a part to replace the centre diff alltogether.

Speak to Howard at HDC Subaru. He fitted an Impreza drivetrain into a Peugeot 206 bodyshell for use in rallycross, and it had to be RWD for the racing regulations.
