Yes but bloody expensive your better off buying a different car if you need a 2 wheel drive car.

yep your gonna need to disconnect or remove the front driveshafts and get the centre diff out of the gearbox,then your gonna need to weld it.Do a good job of it cos alot of torque will be going through it.
There is a guide somewhere on google as i read it and contemplated the same thing...

thats a couple i found.you can also get a part to replace the centre diff alltogether.

Speak to Howard at HDC Subaru. He fitted an Impreza drivetrain into a Peugeot 206 bodyshell for use in rallycross, and it had to be RWD for the racing regulations.
