Sorry if this has been beaten to death. If it is, give me a link
to the thread where the beating happens...

I've read a lot of different aftermarket and OEM turbos. TD0x and
VF2x seem to be common type codes. VF series seems to be somehow
"better" than TD0x. And I somehow have gotten the idea that at
least in VF series a smaller number actually means a bigger turbo.
But that's where the info seems to end.

So where can I find some definitive info about what are the
relative differences between different models ?

Just curious.
