Any conclusive results from the RR day at PE. Was the MY99 ECU any different to the MY00 ECU ?

PS I think the car is slightly worse on fuel since the ECU change ??

Phill, dont no if you saw it or not but I posted about my mate fitting my ecu to his car in your thread -MY00 hesitation-.

He is very happy, but his fuel consumption has also dropped and his tailpipe gets blacker a lot quicker than before after washing.

Yes I did read it with interest. I'm glad he's happy with his car now My exhaust has always been sooty, and I don't clean the car much so wouldn't know if it's any worse.

I used to get 31.4 MPG, and now it has dropped to about 28 MPG (that's on a run on the motorway) I don't bother working out the MPG around town, it would scare me too much.

I couldn't get in on the PE RR day so I'll have to visit another time on my own. Fuel consumption seems a tad worse but I've been enjoying the extra performance I've never seen more than 28ish MPG anyway. I can't comment on the sooty BB yet although hopefully this will prove that there will be enough fuelling for some mods later on

I run my car on Optimax so can't comment on NUL performance, I look forward to driving the car now.

That would be an interesting idea Phil, to go to PS. This is where I had my very first run with the MY00. I managed 201BHP and 190lbsft. It felt like it to.
