Check out Graham Goode's website. I had their dumpvalve fitted before Christmas and it isn't too loud so Grannis wont drop on the side of the road! It is well made according to my garage who fitted it and the working parts are replaceable. Plenty of info on the site.

Lo Crawford

Are you after a certain noise? I used to run a forge unit but didnt make the right noise for me so got rid of it and got myself one that goes tssssshhhhh really loud If your ever down my way then give me a mail and you can come hear it.

Be ready for posts which say noooo dont get a dump valve they bugger everything up, coz they will come. Id just like to say Ive had one for ages and not had any trouble at all.

Hi Ian,

Thanks for the offer. I'm not really sure what I'm looking for to be honest, something loud does seem appealing!

I didn't realise that dumpvalves caused problems, I'll need to find out more about that.

Thanks again,

Crawford

Wink

craw8...use a bailey piston dump valve, makes the right noise and caused no problems at all.
make sure its the DV26 type (double piston for use with air flow meters) and not the DV24 type, as the latter will not allow it to idle smooth etc etc
