You sure you got the right part number for your model as they don't look deep set enough? These are what they should look like with a deeper curve.

These are my Noltec ones which are similar to the Power flex ones connected to a Whiteline adjustable anti roll bar.

Offside.

Nearside.

Standard, wire type & cast type to compare.

They definetely don't look right. Looks like you got sent the wrong ones (likely). Or you have an odd ARB (doubtful)

Did you compare them side-by side to the orginals before fitting? The basic dimensions and hole spacing should be almost identical to the OE ones.

i did compair them, but got told they will still fit. but when i took the old ones off. i had to grind the bolts off (damaging the roody things)

they were a lot smaller & yes the part number was for my car
i've got whiteline on the front so i've put an add up fot the whiteline rears

i've been in touch with power flex, i'm just waiting for a reply
if anyone know to what car these are for. i'll put them up for sale

thats the code to which was on the packet.

look at this e-bay link:

Powerflex Subaru Impreza rear ARB droplinks WRX STI on eBay, also Suspension Components, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 04-Jan-08 12:59:10 GMT)

there the same as the ones i put on my car

i thinks its know down to power flex them selves, they must have changed then to these what i got.

but i'll try & get whiteline know

When you look at the way the WIRE Whitelines work on suspension droop (tripple pics above) you know why many use them. The bush is far less distorted.

Critical to get the right part for the particular year.

Good luck, this should be dead easy to fix.

They look identical to the ones on my 05 wrx, which have been fitted without a problem for nearly 3yrs.

The Powerflex ones in Flat Eric's post (PFR69-200) are a squarer cross section as opposed to mine (and the ones at the top of this post) and seem to have a deeper 'C'..!

I think I still have my OEM ones in the Powerflex box somewhere, I'll try and dig it out an check the part number..

thanks, but the part numbr to which was on the packaging was that for the early type. the box is know gone.

but if you have the ones you took off your car, & take a pic say. it might brake it down a little to find out what year these are really for.

they could have just been in the wrong packaging. but there not right for my car

thanks guy.

is there any difference between the wire type and the cast type?
apart from the obvious.

IMHO:
The bushes in the wire type are far less distorted with the suspension in droop as the pic shows, but i feel the wire ones give less resistance to moving in actual drive position.

for me there is the bonus that you can clean and lubricate them easy too.
