Clutch/Gearbox?
I have a few problems...
1st of all when i am driving the car hard and fast when ever i shift upto 4th gear fast it crunches unless i wait a second or 2 which by that time my revs have droped.
Other problem
Car judders when pulling off,
Now ihave read on here it is most likley down to the clutch or fly wheel, but the only diffrence i think there is with mine is, if i give it more revs and dip the clutch more when pulling off it doesnt judder.
Also when i down change gears it judders.
Are all these problems linked?
Help please

The first sounds like the 3rd to 4th syncro cone on the gear box assuming it is it shouldn’t crunch when going from 2nd to 4th? If the clutch was dragging etc you would have the problem selecting all gears.
The judder is common and clutch/flywheel related.

I will try 2nd to 4th tonight.
Would i be right in thinking fitting a braided line on the clutch would help it not crunch.
My theory is, press clutch with braided line, less time for the clutch to engauge = less or even no crunch.
Or am i dreaming?

Your dreaming, You cant fix a problem by covering it up The syncro cone will need replacing unless you like changing gear very slowly
