Buying a v5 WRX STI
Hi all, noobie here
I've been wanting an impreza for ages and in a couple of months I should be able to get myself one
Having looked around a bit I've settled on a v5 sti, and I was wondering what I should be looking out for when buying one?
From what I gather some common issues are old hoses and pipes (fair for an older car), fuel filters and some clutch/gearbox issues.
Are there many people on here that have had these problems and are there any more?
Cheers

I have a v5, only issue ive had was a split hose as mentioned (turbo feed)
Everyone will also say to look out for rot at the rear . .
Talking from personal experience its worth getting underneath if possible to check the rocker gaskets as they tend to perish over a few years and thats true of all versions
