Hi all im currently looking at buying a new clutch kit and flywheel but not sure which would suit me better, the spec of tune is on View my scooby at the side.
can anyone please point me in the right direction with this

Ive fitted a Fidenza flywheel(230mm) and a Techiclutch(organic) the fly is very very light but its still very drivable,
If you have the budget ive heard the exedy fly/clutch kits are very good too.

You should be able to fit an exedy clutch and lightened flywheel quite cheaply to cope with that sort of spec.

Had an exedy kit on my 95 RA (modified) before the clutch wore out and I fitted an OS Giken push release twin plate racing clutch instead (which is awesome).

Sorry to hijack the thread but how much and where did you get the Giken?

My local specialist who has done all the work to my car (including new engine, rebuild and mapping) fitted it for me. He said it was a bit fiddly since clutch had to be converted to push release.

I got a special price on it as the specialist got a bulk buy deal when he inquired of them which clutch suited my requirements, and passed the saving onto me. Also gave me a credit for my STi motorsport lightened flywheel which was fitted at last rebuild since the Giken assembly comes with a lightened flywheel. So all round cheaper than expected for a twin plate racing clutch.

This clutch is so good the car is currently in getting a brake rebuild lol

very interesting thank you lads just wondering how driveable is a paddle clutch and would a 5.7g flywheel be too light?

Exedy twin plate thats the daddy and feels like a normal clutch but bites like a b**ch, putting 400ft lbs torque through it on drag strip and no matter how hard i try it just will not slip and comes with lightened crome oly flywheel to

well thats the one i would love to have but its like £1000+ lol. im looking at something abit cheaper like £600 for clutch and flywheel.

If you are unsure speak to the people in excedy UK (technical), they know everything, I spoke to them and came away knowing alot more, if you tell them the torque you will have etc they will tell you what you need!

Then when you have done that take a look on the us ebay site as I said

lightend flywheel is not a problem - I have had my Fidenza (under 5kg) one on the car for a year with helix uprated clutch and sti cover and is excellent. I was also worried that it would be to light (flywheel) but is fine. Does not stall and is easy to launch.
