I think all UK turbos in the classic shape in the R160 diff housing.
API are the experts.

UK turbo's have a 3.6 rear diff (due to the 1.1 drop gears).....................

certain early WRX's have a 3.9 rear though not many, and the sport N/A version uses them.............

David is of course right.

UK boxes have the 1:1.1 drop ratio on the back of the boxes, and the Jap imports it is 1:1.

The UK's are 3.6.

The 3.9 R180 diffs will not fit directly into a R160 car without the matching half shafts and hubs/brakes.

so i can use the UK Rear Diff on my STI Version 2 with the stock Gearbox and Driveshaft / Half Shafts?

with the 3.6 diff its possible than drive more than 260 kph @ 7T RPM ... so thats 30 kph more than with the stock one... that will be enough for the first time

how much slowlier i will be from 0-60 MpH with that Rear Diff? Any ideas?

whats years fits my car? 1993-2000 ?
