STI2 Which clutch kit?
Hi, I have a 96 STI2 wagon and the clutch has just started to slip a little, only now & then but i want to get it sorted asap, my question is which clutch kit do i need? is it 225 or 230mm? And are the exedy kits any good? Iv seen some for just over £100.
thanks

if you get 230mm make sure the clutch plate no is fjd024u as the one in the kit they supplyed tightened up on the nuts not the fly wheel

It has a decat & full stainless system, pipercross & running 1bar boost,im planning on getting an apexi power fc fitted in a few months so i will need a clutch that will cope with around 320bhp
This is what i was looking at
Do you not think that will be up to the job?
thanks

No.
IMHO fit an uprated clutch.
AP Organic or the Exedy uprated kit from API
It is too hard a job changing it all for the sake of more money.
It will be fit and forget, and the AP can take a lot of greif.
Mine has done over 140 of these:
DropShots Day
Bob above has hit his clutch much harder still!
