Hi everyone,

Last tuesday I installed replaced my OEM clutch with an Exedy Twin Plate hyper clutch.

I am currently having problems engaging gears especially 1st gear which refuses to engage.

Car is 2004 STI.

Any thoughts?

FYI clutch pedal adjusted serveral times. no change. still having problems.

I do not know the answer, but give David at Welcome to the API website a call or Paul at Zen Performance - Performance upgrade solutions for Japanese cars.
They both supply such clutches.

have you misaligned the plates when you rebuilt the clutch pack after fitting the flywheel.................easily done, and would give the symptoms described

how can i tell the part number?
i still have the box and can take a look at it next week.

i also do not know if the guy at the shop aligned them right, should i tell him something?
