Default Noise when turning left...

Hi All...

Newbie here...

As from the login, i got a GX bugeye model MY03...

A new noise has started to appear when turning right only...The power steering fluid is ok, just had a geometry and wheel alignment and its all bang up to date... Was wondering any suggestions from the experts here? please?

before i end up going to the stealers....

What type of noise ... rumbling, squeeking, rubbing, whinning, clicking etc?

Could be wheel bearing,CV joint, brake pads, tyres etc.

Has any work been done or parts changed just prior to the noise occuring?

Its a rumbling say rubbing type noise...

How bad was the kerbing and to which wheel?
Did the alloy need replacing?
Was the alignment carried out after the kerbing?
Did the noise only start after the kerbing?

Kerbing was to the drivers side front wheel. They tyre had a 'chunk' missing from it in the side wall. Local tyre place said change it to be safe.

And Alloy has abt 1 inch of edge missing from it. Noise has started after kerbing AND wheel alignment.

Thanks

Ok ... so am I reading it right that it didn't make the noise after the kerbing ... but it did make the noise after the allignment?

If so it sounds like the allignment hasnt been done quite right.

If not then its possible that something has been bent when it was kerbed (like the steering rack end) so when you turn right the drivers wheel is turning more than it should and causing the tyre to rub somewhere.

It might be worth finding a carpark and driving slowly around in circles with a friend watching and listening to see if the tyre is causing the noise.
