If you are in range of Welcome to the API website (Leamington Spa, Warwickshire) then drive there and have them fit an Exeedy Organic.

The job is a bitch.

You need to remove the gearbox leaving the engine in place.
You can remove the engine and leave the box there, but it is harder (IMHO)

Really for the brave. Just done it for the forth time.

If your a spanner monkey, go for it. It will either be a piece of pi55 as stated, or a total and untter fecking nightmare.

I having taken at least 30 boxes in and out of scoobs, some have been easy, some have been moderate, some have been awkward, and ONE was a total and utter fecking nightmare.

Mine originally was the son of Steven's last one but with extra attitude...

It is so much harder if, like me, you are on your own and in a domestic garage on axle stands with 3 jacks.

Go for it!

Just done my gearbox, so, in broad terms: (assuming your ramps)
Remove Disconnect battery/TMIC/turbo engine heat shield/starter motor.
Unplug all cables to gearbox/remove clutch slave off box/Lambda sensor
Remove top turbo to down pipe bolts.
Raise car to max: Remove rest of down pipe turbo nuts, remove down pipe or whole exhaust system.
Remove prop/front drive shafts(might have to undo suspension lower ball joints)
Remove clutch arm cover and cross pin completely
Remove the 4 'bell housing' nuts/box support frame and PRAY the box is not corroded to the 2 dowl pins, one either side of engine. Just in case it is free (lucky boy) get a jack under the box (very heavy) first!
Remove transmission to expose the clutch.

That is about it. I bet there are a few things i've forgoten to remove/disconnect!

Reassembly is almost a direct reversal.
Good luck.

if you leave the exhaust down pipe on it gives you somthing to balance the engine to aid refitting and the box will come past it as for coils n plugs easy enough to do with engine sat where it should be

only takes an hour to get the engine out if youve done it before, uk,s have more bell housing bolts than wrx which has 4, im doing mine tomoz taking the engine out to do rocker covers, plugs, injectors, cambelt and clutch, if your working on the floor without a proper ramp i would suggest taking the engine out if your ding more than just the clutch but you can just about do the clutch by lifting and pulling forward the engine, i have done i before!

Do you think patch has finished yet, 3 years seems a long time to do a clutch,
