Default gearbox

right just noticed today that bought cheap type r and been stripping it for track car and found it has a gearbox from a 93 wrx fitted also doesnt have rear 2 pot calipers so asuming this has been changed , now my problem is that wrx never came with dccd ,yet my type r has it and when i disconect wires from gearbox dccd flashes(so presume its still ther) . Now also all fittings still exist for dccd switch wires etc and also i believe the dccd ecu is still in place as above clutch pedal area there is ecu and when remove plugs dccd light s go off and no dccd, cant drive car at mo as part throught putting loads of parts on to check so i am asuming that has some one put maybe type ra box in and r160 rear diff ie hub change etc??, or have they kept type r box and been rebuilt in wrx casing ??
or maybe has just had both rear brake calipers replaced due to faults car has had cage fittied in japan and removed, has correct ver 4 sti engine redtop,440cc vf24 etc can anyone enlighten me as to dccd would still show up if removed etc , and how can i tell if it is ra diff or type r or wrx ( know type r have bigger shafts but what size are they as be able to check ) help somebody
