has anyone seen this before...i clocked it in Japanese performance magazine today as there is an Evo with one.....

Looks like an awesome piece of kit and not nearly as expensive as I would have expected!!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that a sequential box doesn't require clutch use for gearchanges, where as its quite obvious the drivers in the video are using the clutch.
Wonder what the gear ratio's are like and how hard it is to fit and make the kit work...

That looks like nothing more than a conversion kit to modify from an H pattern to a sequential change pattern.
it is pretty imposible to modify a std H gate gearbox into a true sequential box, as They work nothing like one another.
And Yes with a sequential dog box no clutch needs to be used for upshifts just a lift off the throttle.
