Last night after overtaking (steady overtake) I changed gear from 3rd to 4th and the check engine light came on. When i used some boost the boost would just drop off instantly. I drove really steady as I was only 3 - 4 miles from home, the light then disapeared.

This morning the light was back, as i was on my way to the dealers. When I was about 1/4 of a mile away from the dealers (Holdcrofts) the light disapeared and full boost was restored!?

What can it be?

Now sorted finally (touch wood) it was a bad earth connection in the ECU.

This has been re-located and everything seems fine.
