Default castrol syntrax 75w90???

is this oil okay for the box and diff on a bug eye sti

As long as it dosen't have a plated front or rear diff the syntrax will be fine, infact highly reccomended. If it does have plated diffs which some of the imported Sti's have in the rear i think, some of the millers or redline oils which are specifically designed for plated diffs would be more appropriate.

thanks do you know if uk spec cars have a plated diff i have the syntrax in for the last 5000 miles with no probs so i guess its ok

Uk spec are all helical diffs as far as i know, should be fine.
