Talking

Further to the various threads on here recently concerning gearbox`s and synchromesh, I had been threatening to change the fully synthetic 75/90 oil (Silkoline) to Castrol Syntrax semi- synthetic due to poor synchro performance,e.g. 1st to 2nd and 4th to 5th at high(ish) revs. Well, I actually got round to doing it and it seems to work!. 4th to 5th at around 5k was sometimes a teeth gritting experience, but now there is just a little notchiness but virtually no crunch.
Those of you who had similar box probs. - give it a try!
