Default who are the men for the job?

i ithink my gearbox on my my00uk turbo classic is shagged. i live on the wirral and am interested who you would reccomend to see about a diagnosis and fixing in the north west, maybe further afield if they are really good!!

You could also try TEG which are up your end of the country I believe.

hi

thanks for the suggestions i will be getting API to do the job when i find out it is definately the box, just need someone to confirm it for me as i am no expert. its just sitting on my drive for now until it gets looked at. Ill have to get onto teg if they are up my way.

Woodsy, From where you are it's probably just as far to TEG Carnforth or Lancaster I believe, as it is to APi just the opposite direction. Any local garage can diagnose the car for you, just don't let them touch a Subaru if they've never seen one before.......

Simpler to go to API and get it done.
Make sure it is a saturday about 10.00am and you get a killer bacon buttie and hot coffee too.
Keep a firm grip on your plastic as there are temptation there a pleanty!

Id go to API.
Iv been reading all different post and the advice they give and it is really great from them.
ill defo be going there for my Clutch when needed!
