Default Well i bought a Ninja

..not the star throwing bad-asses, but the BB from Scoobyworld.

Having read the threads i decided the ninja BB was the best option for now, just to let me know i'm driving a subaru, should i forget. I got a free high flow simota panel filter thrown in. This is not gonna make it run lean or anything silly like that is it? I was told a remap is not necessary.

(I'm only paranoid after fitting an Induction Kit to my classic and 100 miles later having an engine bill for £3800)

was thinking about fitting a ninja back box to my 04 wrx, are you pleased with it? heard it has a nice deep note but not too loud.

No it won't bugger anything up at all, except maybe your relationship with your neighbours.

I love my Ninja, not too loud, gives you the proper flat 4 rumble and really gives it some whine on full chat!! Plus i'm a sucker for the slash cut Jap look

I haven't had it fitted yet. It should've been delivered today, so hopefully i'll get someone to fit on saturday. Come back my long lost rumble!!

It was the filter i was concerned about...

I've got a Ninja backbox on my 03-plate WRX and it made a BIG (but nice) difference to the noise.

Considering getting the centre-section too, anyone done this? If so, did it make any noticeable difference?

Well i've finally had it fitted. And YES! It is exactly how it should sound off the forecourt. It is a deep rumble, but not too loud, nowhere near that extreme. I even (secretly) hoped it would've been louder. Maybe a centre section once the wifey gets used to this.

Not been over 40 yet, nor give it some, so i'm lOOking forward to the drive home

Throw the filter in the bin!!!

Induction kits are killers of MAF Sensors ..... just leave the Induction side standard!!

It is not an induction kit. It is a cotton performance panel filter.

Ninja is the dogs bollox! LOL. Had one on my MY03 WRX for a while now. Before that i had a ******* rip off brand new (Subaru) 4" job, and that was ******* psih! The Ninja gives a superb growl at full whack and a lovely burble at tickover.
Just an edit to say, i am on my noise limit at motorway speeds, but it is just bareable
I would prefer quiter at motorway cruising speeds, but you cant have it all.
