Motul is probably the 'leading' authority on ester synths at this time, very closely followed by Millers..................far better than a lot of "F1" sponsoring teams who simply use an advertising loophole to sell below std oil at massively inflated costs....................

depends on exact age and use of the car but a Motul 300V 10w40 will cope with a most situations, going slightly up or down ghrade dependant on other factors

deals to be had if you know where to look!!

Sparky, I ran Motul 300V 15w50 in my UK engine for about 30k miles when it was being pushed hard (340brake+/310lbft+)...by this a mean it was high mileage (over 95k when I removed it for the big capacity build, and still running), suffering badly from piston slap, being driven everyday, used for drag and track. In that time it barely used any oil and ran sweet as a nut. Prior to that I was using Redline 10w40, I didn't know that there was a Motul 300V available with that weight at that point...I also used to run the 10w40 in the winter months when the car wasn't being driven so hard and didn't get the chance to warm up so much

For the last few years I have been buying all my oils from here and have yet to find better prices or service

Another vote for Motul.

15W50 for the best part of the year and 10W40 in winter.
Changed every 3-3.5k so I buy in bulk to save on shipping.

NGK PFR 7b's will do nicely (basically the next grade plug, stock Subaru are the PFR6b). They're the standard plug for the Sierra Cosworth, so are plentiful and relatively inexpensive; around the 35 quid mark for a set IIRC

Just picked up some Motul Oil from Alyn at AS Performance at a very competative price.

Give him a call on 0191 410 3770
