Default what head bolts for ej257

hi away to put my ej257 in my car got a set of sti 3 heads to go on but not sure if i put on the standard head bolts or a set of arp on what the thoughts on this going to be running a tdo5/6 20 g turbo

standard ones will be fine.

I'm running very simalar and used std "new" head bolds. Not hada problem yet, done 18k miles so far

so is it better to use new ones then? any idea of the price of then?

Off the top of my head I think they are £120 a set.
I would use new ones.

I re-used them once already when I did the head gasket on the old 2 litre.
I decided it wasn't worth the risk on a new build. I also fitted a new oil cooler donut, oil and water pumps along with a few other bits

o the arp ones was £130 might be better to get them.
got a new oil pump ordered

I'd use the ARP ones (standard size), can be bought in the states for good money.

Go for the ARP studs, They are a better bet than even new standard ones and will take a lot more abuse, should you go for more power in the future.

Standard ones are good for 500hp for prolonged time.

Standard ones are good for 500hp for prolonged time.
So are sti valves but we wont go there...

Theres more 500hp cars running arp than there are running oem bolts.

IMHO.

have been running standard size ARP studs in mine for over a year now, without any problems
