Thanks for that Ron Long time no see.

We can do that conversion, cost about £500 plus carriage and VAT [ sort of depends upon any collateral damage in the box when it's opened up.]

Unless you have a Type R, I would expect your 5th gear to be the same .738, that's used on the UK cars. The difference is STi3, 4, 5, 6 use 4.44 final drives, and the UK's use 3.9's.

IMHO, you'll need to change your fron't, and rear crown wheels, and pinions to 3.9's.

Alternatively, you could change the front to a 3.9, and then change the transfer box, and rear diff' to UK.

Best to have a search for TEG.

No experience with them first hand. Just a recommended name that popped up when I was looking for a build. It was up your way too.

I can recommend Zen Performance, if distance isn't a big issue (based nr Northampton).

Just had it finished yesterday.

Seems fine. Havent had a chance to run it on the strip yet, but hopefully will do soon (Tuner GP, Jap Racer Day or JapShow).

Hope you've put some money aside for yours

what do you mean?? it will never break! in the same way that my bionic clutch will never run out of grip!

i saw a replacement box for 250 quid on here yesterday.....could be useful.

Ive got the nos controller in and working now too so hopefullythe shock to any systems will be greatly reduced

@ box and boinic clutch

You can run more nitrous now you have a controller On a serious note though - are you going to retard the ignition in any way? The red light on the KL must be exhausted by now

I will be trying the 65 shot, hopefully we will be going down the pod on the 25th so will give it a whizz then.

The knocklink is actually very quiet indeed....when i did my 0-60s at TRAX there wasnt a peep until i bashed the limiter.....

its worse if you try and use it without the controller obviously.......im quite surprised.

Im coming after your time!!!! i can launch it with it on now too, so no faffing about

so to answer your question, no, i havent retarded the ignition as yet, and all seems fairly happy thus far....i believe that i am still using too "small" a shot to require it, which is what i have been told by people in the know. I know that i cant run too much more with this engine anyway.

it managed 4.4 with the nos set pretty low....as in 30% of 45 with a 2.5sec rise time. So when it comes in, its effectively a "12" shot that was with a fully trimmed car, nothing removed.

Im flattered!.....am i really in that many? i cant seem to get hold of them!

I only seem to go to the main ones....i guess people are appreciating my willingness to thrash the **** off my car

I will be doing scooby shootout next year hopefully surprising a fair few people... nudge nudge wink wink say no more........
