Does changing the back box alone make much of a different then?

Thinking of getting one for m STI its just in the past a back box alone never made much difference without a straight through centre pipe.

Great if it does as i'll be having one for definite

Make much of a difference in what way ?

If your talking about sound, then jesus, yes it sounds like a complete animal.

As for performance, hard to tell as it would only be slight.

My car is a Wagon so i only have one CAT anyway (in the down pipe).

If you want a nice sounding backbox with a deep animal sounding burble
you will not go wrong with it.

Makes your car sound like a Ducati 996 at full chat !!!!!

Yea i meant sound wise. Not really bothered about increasing the power as im happy with what i have.

Just want a nice deepish rumble on tickover and a little louder than it is when on the move.

Whats it like when crusing along at 70ish? Does it becoming annoying and drone a lot?

If your running it with a full decat then i would imagine it being a little noisier
in the cab area, but not extreme.

No problems with mine at 70
