Question Engine flush, none scoob engine

So whats the deal on these engine flushes, you add to the oil your taking out, run for 10 mins, change oil and hey presto!
I take it these are tried and tested, cause no problems etc??

Have used these products with no probs and to be honest have had good feedback and no problems,and are widely available.
