Question Who on here runs and induction kit and MAF?

As per title really.

Anyone had many problems ie MAF failure or perhaps MAF failure?

Has anyone has MAF failure or any problems with the MAF?

Any other running problems or observations? Apart from being able to hear the wastegate.

Cheers

Luke, as said use the search. Unless your V5 is modified to the point it needs better breathing, an induction kit is a waste of time. Bolting one on will not give you more power, and on an import it may cause it to run slightly more lean.

When my car was mapped the induction kit was actually contributing to the intake temp being 14 degrees higher than it should have been. Removed it and replaced it with a green cotton filter and down the temp came. Therefore it was detremental to performance on my car.

Luke C,

These types of MAF failures can be induced by a)Any filter type using certain types of oil to help filtration, mullering up the MAF and b)Induction kits not properly mounted, causing excessive vibration, possibly resulting in MAF failure.

Regards,
Shaun.
