auto box noise
a friend has an auto wrx on a 94 plate
it has just started to wine but if you put your foot on the break pedel
it stops until you accelerate
any one heard of this would be a great help
as i will be the techy fixing this
dont want to put a box in if i can help it as we would have to convert to manual loads of work and expence

Could it be a loose alternator belt?
Or maybe its becouse you havent covered the 3RD cam belt with 4.5 litres of tranny oil!
