the rear diff is irellevant on gearbox or type !!!!!!
edited to say i trashed an RA gearbox on my 99/00 car and they are the same as a P1

The rear diff isn't part of the gearbox if thats what you're looking for. The gearbox has the front and centre diffs in it.

yep p1 has r160 rear diff, same fitted to sti 5/6 4 door (not sti type r or ra, which has r180)
you need to change rear diff if fitting p1 gearbox
