Default STi5 Type R gearbox and engine internals

How much power can the standard engine internals handle?
How much power can the gearbox handle before it breaks?

How long is a piece of string, how reliable do you want them to be. Gearbox is more likely torque related. I think 350 lbft might be OK. Engine, seems to be OK at 400 BHP, but some do fail. A hot track day might kill it at this level?

350 BHP/330 lbft might be fairly sensible?

John 'if' 375/350 might also be quite sensible what do you recommend to get there. Simple bolt on,off the shelf measures would be useful
ie which:
turbo
fmic,if yes which one
headers? if so which one
assume,exhaust,filter,fp,fpr,injectors,mappable ECU done.

In all to make a vicious 375/350 road going machine that should PROBABLY last

Cheers, Deep.

20G, new age STi TMIC, headers (Gruppe S or Megan?), 3" exhaust, induction, fp, fpr, 550s, Apexi or Ecutek.

People have been selling modified cars, find one that is well done and you could save a packet?
