Default Upgrading to FSE fuel pressure regulator

Have recently purchased the above (and a Walbro 255l/h pump) but looking at the bits that came I don't think I've got the part that replaces the OEM regulator. What does it look like, does it usually need to be sourced seperately, and if so - where can I get one?

Cheers,
Jamie

P.S. Peanuts, what u doing on Sunday?

I've seen a few FSE regs going second hand on here - is this because the SX is the one to go for and the FSE can be pot luck if it works as expected?

I think Floyd its because the FSE operates up to 5bar (iirc from destructions)
if Im running static pressure of 3.5bar that effectively means that the max boost is limited to 1.3 odd bar (so as not to exceed 5bar total).
There have also been suggestions at the accuracy/reliability of the FSE unit and the scooby community are a nervous bunch (well I know I am!)

Looks like this...

Do yourself a favour and swap the o-ring for the OE one before you break the one supplied the first time you fit it.

Cheers guys. I haven't got the stuff to hand when I'm online, but from memory I think I might have the pipe and the brass bit - not sure about the silver part though ! I don't start work until 15:00 all next week Andy so will probably give u a bell one morning to see if you're free at all to check the bits and give me some advice on fitting.

Thumbs up

Right, after looking at Andy's car I realised I didn't have the part to replace the OEM FPR so hopefully I have everything now.

I've taken a picture of the bits I have, can anyone confirm I've got all the bits required? I'm assuming I can use the original hosing - if not what additional hose will I need?

Cheers,
Jamie

i use to se as much as 10psi differance in fuel pressure every time i started the car with my fse reg.
i swapped it for a standerd gtb reg and it idles at 41psi then 51psi at 0psi and 1 to 1 from there and its 100% constant day in day out.
i was going to get an sx reg but this one seems to be set at the pressure that i want so i'll stick with it. this is with an R33 gtr fuel pump.
