In the last 2 weeks I have had a problem developing and wonder if anyone has had the same. In 5th gear and only in 5th when accelerating either lightly on boost or anything upto and including full throttle the car is starting to experience Vibration and Hesitation (not happening when cruising at any speed or even accelerating very gently off boost).

The best way I can describe it is like turbulence on an airplane.

I can’t work out if it's the gearbox or the engine doing it. What I do know after extensive testing its only happening in 5th gear. The gearbox has no whines or problems selecting or staying in gear - it seems tiptop apart from this odd problem. I had a similar problem when my spark plugs needed replacing however on previous experience it was a problem in every gear.

Any Ideas?

What miles since last plugs? First port of call.....

Car must have done about 14k on current plugs. Think Ill replace them this weekend. Thanks for your input, I had decided to do this but just thought mabey another known scooby problem I didnt know about
