Default Just had new clutch n fly wheel fitted

Hey Guys just got a new clutch n fly wheel fitted on my94 wrx, she drives nice now, not a bad price i think 135.00 pounds labour, and 509.00 pounds for parts. what do u reckon on that? I am finding that she cains petrol to the max , mind you i was doing 140 mph on the way back from the garage, how many miles to the gallon should i get if i drive carefully? i got about 120 miles to 20 quid.

Cheers..

ps my pound signs come out like this-------------->@

N im thinking ur full of ****!

A fly wheel on its own is about 300 quid (6.5k), then you have the clutch, plus labour on top, You think a garage is gonna fit a clutch for 50 quid-lol, tis also included a new clutch release bearing... comon dreamer..

I agree with Micky...i got my clutch and flywheel done for about £350. I really do think you have been ripped off. Micky is a well respected member of SN so slagging him off is not the best especially since you are a newbie.

Scoobydo, were the clutch parts real Subaru parts? If so, I guess that it where the ££££ comes from.
The labour charge was a steal!

If it all works, you have a warrantee and the garage is a good'un then i wouldn't worry.
Enjoy your car, but 140 mph?

Good luck,
