Question Tek 3 Mod Options

Hi guys

going for tek3 remap at BRD and mulling over options for further mods before the big day. Car is fully de-cat with STi panel filter and my dilema is wether to go for the K&N induction and forge d/v or is the standard recirc just as good? If there are only minimal benefits i'd rather not bother. In other words is the standard airbox and recirc up to it or not? Any opinions would be welcome.

Not wanting to second guess what Bob Rawle would do but I would suggest leaving the panel filter and leaving the OEM recirc valve or getting a Forge recirc valve which Bob finds better.

Many apologies for upsetting Bob if wrong.

A friend of mine suggested the same thing. And i've just spotted a 2nd hand one for sale.....
Not meening to sound dumb or anything but would the induction kit be wiser if i didnt have the STi p/f?

AFAIK the induction side (with better filter) is one of Subaru's better offerings. It runs 300 plus on the WR1 and (with mods) the Spec C...

Is this for a bugeye (MY01-02)

Stick to the panel filter for as long as the turbo is std. Forge recirc is of benefit on a GC8.
