after some rough morning running and a missfire getting worse (starting in lower gears, then spreading in time to all) under hard acceleration, I bought a new coil pack,

I looked at the most difficult to change and working on the 'sods law' theory changed this one first!
Amazingly it was the knackered one and mornings even damp are a joy! and the car revved fine.

Trouble is done a couple of hundred miles today and a missfire has come back under hard acceleration again in 1st and 2nd bad, and a bit in 3rd. (yet to find what a damp morning brings)

Could these miles today have finished another coil pack off?

Should I replace the rest of the coil packs and face facts?

Or is my problem elsewhere do you think?

I tried a check engine light (two black plugs together with ignition on) but it just flashes non stop!, i counted 60+ and gave up! I am running a scoobyecu.co.uk module anyone know if this still runs the check light function?, or did i do something wrong in the procedure to check?,

By the way it's a 94 wrx

Cheers

James
