....it all depends on your budget, what level of noise you want and what kind of look you like. Some will give you alittle more power gains too. Only you can decide.
Ninja....had one myself. Very good quality and very good value for money. Big and shiney to say the least. Very nice bearable flat four burble.
Typhoon.....i know very little about it and haven't heard one...but not as loud as TSL Firestorm which is used by alot of folk on here.
Afterburner Vortex....angled exit looks good if you like that jap style, shiney with a "titanium" style tip, loud and certainly seems to add some extra bhp.
Blitz...very loud, make sure your neighbours love you alot before pulling up with one of these.

go jap you will not be dissapointed HKS hiper is said to give some of the best power gains and it does look the muts nuts

Blitz nur spec is a animal but is said to sound the best if not just a little to loud

both the above look far better than any Brithish exhaust and IMHO are far better quality

if you want a small less noticable zorst go for a scoobysport \ haywood and Scott

there is a newish nur spec on ebay for a new age car

I must admit I do fancy the new tsl ti-phoon but as its new no reports on it yet, I think its a firestorm with a different tip but not sure.

...no its not the same as a firestorm. Not as loud.

let me make up your mind for you...Afterburner Vortex...awesome. Will fit your H&S centre a treat as it's made by the same skilled craftsmen.

Go Ninja - I love the sound of mine.

Scoobyworld are selling new one for £225, or old (just without writing on tailpipe I think) for £195.

Clicky

I have to agree...i'm well chuffed with mine. It looks awesome, will fit your centre section perfectly...it sounds great under boost, but settles down nicely for those long journeys....just did a 250 mile round trip to NEC in Brum and my passenger commented at the start of the journey how cool it sounded....then promptly got a jump when i got off the motorway and gave it some stick, cos he hadn't noticed the noise all the way. I'd love a Blitz, but the noise would drive me insane a lot of the time!
And you can't argue with the price!!

I have a full H&S *Original* Scoobysport system fitted to mine....for me the sound is perfect...and the 3.5" tail is quite discreet. The noise it makes tho' is anything but

Well recommended

The Blitz sounds the best compared to the HKS, I've had both, the Blitz seems to sound smoother and brings out the best vocals on the cars, it also rattle windows really well too! Of course I cannot comment on the other makes, as I have never had anything to do with them!

The Scoobysport is good as when on a motorway cruise it sounds very nice, but not loud and sporty until you open the throttle up.

The HKS Hiper is on my site, and it is essentially what I am talking about, they hae now replaced the Hiper with the Hi Power Stainless which is made out of stainless steel. This is what poeple now receive when they order from my site, I will change the details tonight

Remember the BLitz is still great value at £50 + VAt less than value!

I've just got an afterburner vortex for my 04WRX.

Changed from a ppp back box.

God damn it's loud round town & when you boot it but amazingly quiet when on the motorway - 70 - 85 mph it's quieter than the prodrive box.

Looks teh dogs plums too.

Will I need a link pipe for my jdm wrx ? If I do it makes it a quite expensive system, also I already have a h&s centre to go on when I fit the new back box

No you wont need it for a JDM! Only the UK and Euro spec cars need the link pipe The NUR SPec R fits up to your JDM Downpipe.

Quick Reply: which back box? I cant decide!!
