Have you changed anything Steve ? It shouldn't be away up there, it will just cook the top mount !
What boost does it hold in 5th gear ?

Andy

checked for any probs with wastegate/actuator?
I had some slight WG issues on my LINK which caused overboost only on really cold days..

ya never know..
(sure Andy has thought of that already)

Why hasn't fuel cut come in?
My Sti v3 used to have this problem, 1.6 bar (it went well...) and then brick wall shudder.
Sure you are getting 1.8?
At 1.3bar, my car runs perfectly.

all ive done is added an sti8 scoop to the car , and it was on the rolling road yesterday and it was them that told me what it was peaking at, i noticed the day before peak boost had moved up a little. but in 4th gear on a power run peak boost was 1.8bar

as for boosting in 5th gear i dontt know as i have been driving sensibly since i heard its peak boost, dont want engine blowing for the sake of waiting a couple of weeks till i come up for another map

did you get a reading for that run on the rollers?

Is that still with the TD05, or did you get the 06 on yet?

Steve,

On the rollers, I heard Barry tell you it was doing 18psi, not 1.8bar.

Are you sure about 1.8 bar?

Your uppipe was leaking like hell too if I remember right.

my boost gauge is a blitz and it reads in bar, plus he pointed to where it was boosting on the gauge

i hope it was only 18 psi those upipes have been blowing all the time as well as the headerss im really sick of them and am thinking of putting a descent set on to get rid of the problem

1.6 bar is quite a bit imo
