Default Induction kits?

I'm looking for advice on induction kits. I have a standard 1997 Sti. Which kits would you recommend?

The best advice is not to bother. Given that your car is otherwise standard, there is next to no potential gain, but, potentially, plenty to lose.

Which kits would you recommend?
None. As drb5 suggests, your best option is a good panel filter. Pick any one of STi, K&N or Green and you will be fine.

What about a HKS Racing Suction Kit? Would this not improve performance?

because your cr is standard, it won't make any perforrmnace differance, at least not noticable. scoob's just simply ain't great for getting more air into them and showing a good power increase, until you have done other such things. best bet is to save your dough, buy a full decat and get ecu mapped to let the car run nice and safe with it.

I refer you to the answers above. I know you're new here, but there's been plenty written on this subject in the past. Clicking the Search button above would unearth a mine of useful information.
